El Centro de Investigaciones en Arte y Patrimonio (CIAP) estuvo presente en el 36th Congress of the Comité International d’ Histoire de l’ Art CIHA 2024 “Matière Matérialité”. Cinco de sus investigadoras participaron como expositoras en esta edición, cuyo tema general fue la materia y la materialidad.

Sandra Szir, investigadora y directora del CIAP, participó en la sesión Photomechanical Prints and the Material Agency of Images con su ponencia “The photomechanical reproduction and the social and technological construction of a mass image : The illustrated periodical press in Argentina 1900”.

Silvia Dolinko, investigadora del CIAP y secretaria de Investigación de la Escuela de Arte y Patrimonio (EAyP), participó en la sesión Printing surfaces. Experimenting with the matrix con su ponencia “Antonio Berni’s surfacs: collage and experimentation in the woodcut matrices of the 1960s”.

Milena Gallipoli, becaria postdoctoral del CIAP, participó en la sesión The power of imprint: raw and ductile materials and ductile materials from Antiquity to the present day con su ponencia “Stone, paper, plaster. Materiality, production and circulation of moulds and casts from Mesoamerican archaeological material in Berlin”.

Isabel Plante, investigadora del CIAP, participó en la sesión Materialities in motion from Latin America: production, networks, and inmaterialities como parte de la Mesa redonda Latin American case studies: contemporary production and dialogues, con su ponencia “The testimonial matter of Chilean arpilleras: textiles, solidarity and gender”.

Marisa Baldasarre, investigadora del CIAP, participó en la sesión Putting a price on materials. Materiality and the art market con su ponencia “Value and Originality in the late-NineteenthCentury Oleograph Market in Buenos Aires”.
