En el marco de la cooperación entre la Cátedra de Hermenéutica de la UNSAM y la Universidad Técnica de Dresde (TUD), entre el 5 y el 8 de septiembre se celebró la quinta edición del coloquio Challenges of Life, dedicado esta vez a la temática naturaleza.

En el transcurso de tres jornadas, filósofos, sociólogos, antropólogos, historiadores y artistas provenientes de universidades de todo el mundo plantearon, desde una perspectiva antropocéntrica, las diferentes posturas, lenguajes y cosmovisiones en torno a la naturaleza, entendida como un desafío que puede ser abordado de manera constructiva y creativa.

Las ponencias de los especialistas procedentes de las universidades de Alemania, Austria, Francia, Italia, México y la Argentina fueron acompañadas por las intervenciones artísticas de Hernesto Mussano.

En un ámbito de diálogo interdisciplinario e intercultural, se analizaron y discutieron los trabajos que conformarán el quinto volumen de la colección Challenges of life: Essays on philosophical and cultural anthropology, dirigida por Carlos Ruta y Gert Melville bajo la coordinación editorial de Laura S. Carugati.
