More than one hundred Scandinavian students come to UNSAM this semester

Galería

UNSAM Study Abroad Program received a group of Scandinavian students at our Miguelete Campus that will take courses this semester at UNSAM. The delegation attended an orientation session at the Lectura Mundi Auditorium and got a campus tour. They had also the chance to participate in an intercultural meeting with Argentine students.

They will attend Argentine History, Latin American Literature, Philosophy and Spanish classes at the Volta Building (City of Buenos Aires) and at the Miguelete Campus within the framework of the Study Abroad Program.

Some of them will carry out their first experience at a university, while others are advanced students in different universities from Norway, Denmark and Sweden. UNSAM has also welcomed those who studied at UNSAM last semester and found themselves so comfortable that decided to repeat the experience.

During the intercultural meeting, Argentine students had the opportunity to practice English, while their Scandinavian peers were able to put their knowledge of Spanish into practice through a game of words created by students of the UNSAM Tourism career. Between mates and snacks of pasta frola, they learned some words of the Buenos Aires (porteño) slang like “bondi”, “fiaca” and “boliche”, which will surely be useful during their stay in our country.
