UNSAM at New York!

Unsam authorities attend to an Educational Workshop at New York city and visit Kean University campus.

On May 2015, the Vice-president of UNSAM, Dr. Daniel Di Gregorio, and the Study Abroad Program Coordinator, Monica Bologna, visited the cities of New York and Boston participating in different international activities representing UNSAM.

On May 18th and 19th, UNSAM representatives were invited to an Educational Workshop at the Argentine Consulate in New York. During this two-day workshop, they met with representatives from different colleges and universities from the areas of New York and New Jersey with the objective of setting the ground for future cooperation between UNSAM and these institutions. They were very happy since UNSAM was one of the most required institutions at the consulate!

On May 21st they visited the Kean University campus.

Kean University is a public university located in New Jersey, which aims to promote and build strong ties and collaboration with a variety of universities worldwide. In this sense, we are happy that UNSAM is one of them.  Since 2014, this university counts with a campus at the Republic of China. Kean University-Wenzhou campus is a 500-acre (200 ha) space located in Wenzhou, at the Province of Zhejiang.

During their visit UNSAM representatives took part and participate of a special dinner with the Kean University staff (authorities, professors and researchers).

Finally, on May 28th, UNSAM authorities visited the MIT campus, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. in Physics Rosa Liberman was in charge of receiving them and showing them the campus.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) -often cited as among the world’s top universities- is a private research university, founded in 1861. MIT is traditionally well-known for its research in Applied Science and Engineering. More recently it has added other areas of knowledge such as Biology, Economics, Linguistics and Management.
